This photo is from our pink carnation ceremony last year. This year's event will happen next week. We honour our sisters who are no longer with us. The flower toss into the water is very moving.

Remember our paddling times are Monday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on the water at Black River Lake, Kings Co. Be at the dock site by 6 p.m. and we will supply you with a paddle and lifejacket. To paddle with us, all you have to do is sign a waiver. You are welcome. If you need to contact me, 902-542-1466 is my land line, leave a message.
I have been very remiss in managing this blog. Unfortunately we have had to cancel paddling a number of times, due to low numbers. Some of us have been going to Aylesford Lake to use the free kayak loan program managed by the Co. of Kings, recreation department. That has been a lot of fun. They have paddle boards and kayaks. All you do to access the free program is get in touch with them at 902-690-6214.
